Ryan Packard, percussion, opens for the contemporary vocal ensemble Quince as part of the Horner Park Advosory Council (HPAC) Summer Concert Series at Ravenswood Manor Park.
Ryan Packard bio:
Ryan Packard is a percussionist, improviser, and composer based in Chicago who avidly performs contemporary and experimental music. He studied percussion at Oberlin Conservatory of Music under Michael Rosen, completed his Masters of Music at McGill University under Aiyun Huang and Fabrice Marandola, and currently performs both independently and with Fonema Consort.

With the precision and flexibility of modern chamber musicians, Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble specializes in experimental vocal repertoire that is changing the paradigm of contemporary music. Comprised of vocalists Elizabeth Pearse, Kayleigh Butcher, Amanda DeBoer Bartlett, and Carrie Henneman Shaw, Quince is dedicated to providing a wider exposure for the music of living composers.
